Personality[]
Belle is a Living Doll who has a gentle personality and loves to talk and tell/listen to stories. She is an extremely caring woman and always wants to ensure that she is there for the householder.
She has an inferiority complex and is ashamed of her doll body. She dreams of becoming a real human being and looks at the bodies of other humans with envy. Her self conscious shame is such that she is uncomfortable being seen in public places like parks.

- Doll Body: A Living Doll as a lifeform is literally described as "a soul living within the body of a doll". It is unclear on how the exact mechanics of this state comes about; whether a Living Doll is created when a host-less soul takes possession of/is entrapped within a doll's body or if a Living Doll is created via some reproductive means.
- Non-biological Body: A Living Doll's body is not biological and thusly is not susceptible to the same vulnerabilities (heat, cold) and strengths (regeneration) as a biological body. Of course, this also means that they encounter difficulties that biological beings would not, such as the notion that their ball-jointed limbs encounter problems if sand gets into their joints.
- Soul Strength: A Living Doll with a very strong spirit can grow their own hair like a biological being. Others must rely on wigs and protect their hair zealously as it won't grow back if damaged.
- Life Energy Consumption: Living Dolls must absorb "life energy" or "vitality" from living beings to sustain themselves. Depending on how much energy the Doll absorbs the process can often leave the living being tired and physically weakened. Like vampires with blood, they can eat a person's life force as long as they have that person's permission to do so.
- Curse Ability: Living Dolls claim to possess the ability to curse individuals that cross them.

Living Dolls are a race of humanoid beings that resemble Ball-Jointed Dolls in nearly every physical aspect.
Historically considered "possessed items" by human society, numerous accounts of encounters with "living dolls" have arisen over the centuries from various corners of the world. Such stories usually detail a previously (or at least initially thought of as...) inanimate doll becoming possessed by a spirit and proceeding to interact with their human owners; and enacting grievous revenge if their owners mistreat or otherwise upset them in some way.
