Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls (モンスター娘のいる日常, Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou) Chapter 0 is the prototype chapter of the Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls manga series.
Written and drawn by mangaka Okayado (Inui Takemaru), this chapter was drawn as a "test" chapter to show potential publishers the kind of series Okayado intended for Monster Musume to be.
This prototype chapter was later rendered in full colour and collected as a technicolor side story with the title Kemomo as part of Volume 9.
Plot[]
In Miia's bedroom, the bottomless Lamia is using Kimihito as a bodywarmer by hugging and coiling her tail around her host. As she's seductively complementing how warm he is, Kimihito warns her of the consequences in overdoing it as his face starts reddening.
Miia being too addicted to her "bodywarmer".
Papi suddenly barges in and complains about her hogging their host all to herself. Miia tells the Harpy to stay calm and explains that as a reptile, she requires external heat from him and the latter will have her turn with him once she's done. Kimihito then says that he can't breathe with his face pressed hard into Miia's cleavage as his body starts cracking from the lamia's constriction. Miia just constricts her host even further until the latter's face becomes too red and as a result, a nipple slips out of her top.
Harpy vs Lamia.
Papi suddenly throws an egg she laid at the lamia when the latter suggests to Kimihito that she should remain snuggled up with him in this manner for the whole day. Miia is infuriated by this as the harpy tells her once again that she shouldn't have Kimihito all to herself and adds that because of her selfishness, she has to lay her egg which wasn't fertilize on her own when their host needs to be helping her as he promised her. Kimihito then points out that this incident happened yesterday and he did help her to do so. Miia laughs at Papi's forgetfulness and taunts about it. The girls then give each other insulting nicknames relating to their animalistic parts as well as giving negative comments regarding them too. Kimihito attempts to stop them and break them up when they start to tussle.
However, he ends up being hit in their crossfire and gets slammed into Centorea's bountiful bosom. The centauride berates the both of them for not showing concern to their host as she presses him against her abdomen. She then suggests to Kimihito that she wishes to go for a trot with him before having breakfast and ignore the both of them for being shameless sluts. Centorea continues by adding oil to the fire in giving Papi an insulting nickname relating to her animal parts in which the latter takes offence about being called flat-chested and Miia gets shocked from hearing this as she knows this will only be worse.
Papi's move of vengeance, "Releasing the Boobies".
Papi retaliates by ripping open Centorea's blouse which exposes the latter's freed boobs and criticizes how humongous they are. Miia is then dragged into a triple catfight when the centauride makes an offensive insult about her animalistic parts too and the three girls begin tugging at each other's clothes that results in them nearly being stripped naked. Once again, Kimihito trying to intervene by telling them to stop with the insulting remarks but ends up getting crushed by them in their tussle.
De Javu.
Later the four of them are resting peacefully under a tree after Kimihito's injuries are bandaged up and he lectures the girls regarding the disaster they've just created. The three of them promise that they will never fight with each again but starts arguing among themselves in who should nurse Kimihito back to health as he starts to worry about them getting along with each other again.

Trivia[]
- As a prototype chapter, Okayado uses a different art style more similar to his original doujinshi, which is noticeably less refined than the final art style used in the manga.
