Cott (コット, Kotto) is a female Barometz and Ton's twin sister, who looks exactly like her. Both work at the farm. After shearing Merino, Kimihito is asked to shear Ton and her sister. Cerea gladly takes up this duty. However the twins say that they prefer to be shaved with the buzzer. When Merino shows the Farm Owner's picture to Cerea, the twins gossip about the owner. She makes her debut in Chapter 33.
Appearance[]
Cott is noticeably short, most likely due to her species, and she wears overalls and arm sleeves. She also has ears and a tail similar to Merino's. Her horns are tipped down unlike her sister Ton.
Personality[]
Cott is shown to be pretty friendly, but she is also childish and mischievous and often gets into mischief with her twin sister Ton. However, Cott is also hardworking and is very interested in farm work. She is very close to her twin Ton and both of them always do everything together, be it daily work or pranks.
Skills & Traits[]
- Barometz Physiology:
- Cotton fur: Much like a Pan, Cott's body is completely covered in thick wool, but since Barometz are plant-like Liminals, their "fur" is actually cotton. The cotton needs to be sheared often, as it gets uncomfortable for her if it's too long, especially by hot temperatures. However, unlike Pan's, Barometz doesn't explicitly state how long it will take for their cotton to grow back.

Zoological Classification[]
- Main article: Dryad
Barometz (or Vegetable Lamb of Tartary in the official translation) are a psuedohuman race possessing characteristics of a sheep or goat. With legends surrounding the race stemming from Central Asia; where they are said to be birthed by an as-yet-unknown plant, while possessing numerous similarities with the Pan Faun, Barometz are actually plant-like beings like the Dryad, Mandragora and Alraune.
Like the wool on a Pan, Barometz possess a coat of cotton that requires occasional shearing.
The name of this species is a reference to the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary, with said plant having a "scientific name" (the name actually predates the modern usage of scientific names) of "Planta Tartarica Barometz".
Trivia[]
- Her height, weight and three sizes are exactly the same as her twin sister Ton's.
- The twins' names are derived from "cotton", a plant-based material that can be used to make clothing, just like sheep's wool.
