The Kayado Public Library is a public library featured in the manga series located in Akasaka in Tokyo, Japan.

The library is a very large building with at least three floors. The doors of the library are made of glass and both the stairs and the external façade are made of a light-coloured material, possibly marble.

The Kayado Public Library has long been the residence of the grimoire Arbatel, although how the magical tome came into the library's possession is unknown. It is probably a very well-known and popular library considering the high number of people whose consciousness was absorbed by Arbatel. It can be assumed that the grimoire was not originally in a public section of the library, given the fact that the cases of unconscious persons associated with Arbatel only became known a short time before Chapter 74.

Trivia[]

  • As a magical tome, Arbatel was able to affect the library so that the only room that seemed comfortable, clean and inviting was the room it was located within.
  • While Arbatel absorbs the consciousness of everyone who opens its pages and reading its name aloud, the grimoire also goes out of its way to contact an ambulance once its done so to make sure the unconscious body is given proper medical attention.
