The following is a description of Kino's relationships and interactions with other characters in Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls.

Humans[]

Kimihito Kurusu[]

Kimihito viewed Kino with caution at first as she was one of the three dangerous Liminals and because she contaminated his house with her hallucinogenic spores. However, he quickly gained sympathy for Kino after learning that she has no control over her spores. When Kino sadly said that she just wanted to have friends, Kimihito consoled her by noting that Papi had already become her friend. Since then, both get along well.

Mr President[]

Mr President is the smuggler who illegally smuggled Kino into Japan because he considered the spores of the Matango to be a valuable raw material. After smuggling Kino into Japan, he made a deal with her so that she wouldn't pay him any money if she wandered around in front of the Kurusu House. Kino did this, although she didn't understand Mr President's motivations. As seen in Chapter 53, Kino also supplies samples of her spores to the Black Lily Laboratory to pay for her immigration expenses.

Kimihito's homestay girls[]

Miia[]

When Kino visited the Kurusu House, Miia, like most of the household girls, came under the influence of the hallucinogenic spores of the Matango. However, she eventually understood that Kino wasn't doing this on purpose and they seem to get along since then.

Papi[]

When they first met, Papi immediately saw Kino as a friend, even though they didn't actually know each other. Papi didn't take the accident with the hallucinogenic spores in offense to Kino in any way and both have become good friends since then.

Centorea Shianus[]

Since Kino was one of the three dangerous Liminals, Centorea regarded the Matango girl with caution, also due to herself having come under the influence of the hallucinogenic spores. In the end, however, Centorea understood that Kino wasn't doing this on purpose and they seem to get along well since then.

Suu[]

When Kino visited the Kurusu House, Suu, like most of the household girls, came under the influence of the hallucinogenic spores of the Matango. In the case of Suu, this fact turned out to be particularly drastic, because since a Slime dissolves in water, it was diffucult to decontaminate Suu. However, since this incident, Suu has probably got along well with Kino, since the Matango girl is also friends with Papi.

Meroune Lorelei[]

Since Mero can breathe through her gills as a mermaid, she didn't come under the influence of Kino's spores. Finally, while Mero expained to Kimihito how the situation had come about, she viewed Kino with caution for what had happened. In the end however, Mero understood that Kino wasn't doing this with purpose and they seem to get along since then.

Rachnera Arachnera[]

Since Rachnera had already received information about the Matango girl from Mr President before Kino's visit, she had special respiratory masks and didn't come under the influence of Kino's spores. This enabled Rachnera to give Kimihito and Centorea respiratory masks to protect against the spores. It can be assumed that Rachnera viewed Kino with caution, but in the end she understood, that Kino wasn't doing this on purpose and since then they both seem to get along well.

Lala[]

When Kino visited the Kurusu House, Lala, like most of the household girls, came under the influence of the hallucinogenic spores of the Matango. It can be assumed, however, that in the end Lala understood that Kino didn't do this on purpose and the two have probably got along since then.

Others[]

Killa and Curie[]

The exact relationship between Kino and Killa is unclear, but due to her spores, Killa viewed the Matango girl as dangerous. Kino on the other hand, is probably afraid of Killa because of her aggressive temperament.

During their trip to Japan, Kino got really scared of Curie, presumably she had heard stories about Vampires before. However, Kino was not aware that the malice that emanated from Curie was only due to her father Wladislaus, who had taken control of his daughter as a Ghost.
