This following is a description of Manako's relationships and interactions with other characters in Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls.

Humans[]

Kimihito Kurusu[]

Manako seems to be slightly indifferent or a bit intimidated by Kimihito, acting somewhat nervous around him. During her date with him, she keeps her distance from him as she claims to not do well with crowds as well as having bad depth perception. She wonders if Kimihito is genuinely a nice or kind person as other claim he is, recounting an experience in which Humans becoming visibly disturbed when speaking to her. She asks him, being professional and calling him by his real name "Kurusu", to look at her, believing that he too may be disturbed by her, but was surprised to see that he was looking at her as if she was normal causing her to become very flustered and embarrassed. She claims that her date was a bit embarrassing because he was the first human to treat her like a normal girl, but seems quite grateful and glad by his genuine kindness.

Kimihito seems to think that Manako is somewhat hopeless due to being far away from him and crashing into objects during their date, but tries to put her comfort and needs first knowing how nervous she can be. He understands how self-conscious she is about herself and as such tries to make her feel like a normal girl, not minding what she is.

During their second date in Chapter 42, he helped her overcome her fear of being in crowded public places by taking her to a festival while wearing a mask. Since she enjoyed it Manako asked him if they could do it again.

Kuroko Smith[]

Manako generally gets along well with Ms Smith, although like many others, Manako is often annoyed by her laziness. However, unlike Zombina and Doppel, Manako is much less overt about it and generally remains calm. She also didn't seem to have any glee in Chapter 13, unlike the other girls of the M.O.N team after they refused to nurse Ms Smith with her cold after she let them do her paperwork for her.

Bicycle Police Officer[]

Since the M.O.N often works with the police, Manako and the police officer know each other, but only fleetingly. He seemed startled by the sight of Manako's eye in Chapter 15.

Police Chief[]

Since the M.O.N often works with the police, Manako and the police chief know each other, but only fleetingly.

Neighborhood Kids[]

Manako has only interacted with the girls among the neighborhood kids so far, but overall their relationship seems to be good. In Chapter 42, Manako showed the girls how to win a goldfish at the festival by scooping goldfish.

Unnamed male human co-workers in chapter 42[]

Ren Kunanzuki[]

Due to her work at the M.O.N, Manako knew about the scandal with Rachnera, but didn't learn the name of Rachnera's original host family. However, in Monster Musume: Monster Girls on the Job!, Manako was sent to Cafe Marsha along with Centorea, where she first met Ren. Manako was shocked to learn from Kimihito Ren's connection to the incident, but apart from that, she seems to be getting along with her.

She was assigned surveillance duty on the date between Kimihito and Centorea to find out the culprit. Manako was somewhat scared when the centaurine shouted at her through the phone.

In Chapter 29, Manako was totally shocked to learn that Centorea's chest measurement was more than 103 cm compared to her own rather modest chest measurement.

Suu[]

Manako doesn't generally interact much with Suu, but they get along with each other.

Meroune Lorelei[]

Manako doesn't generally interact much with Mero, but they get along with each other.

Rachnera Arachnera[]

Due to her past with Kasegi, the members of the M.O.N team attempted to arrest Rachnera, although the situation was eventually resolved. Since then, Rachnera and Manako seem to get along, but they also don't interact often with each other.

Lala[]

Manako doesn't generally interact much with Lala, but they get along with each other.

Monster Ops: Neutralization[]

Tionishia[]

Manako and Tionishia have a very good relationship with each other both as team members at the M.O.N and as friends.

Zombina[]

Manako gets on very well with Zombina as a team member of M.O.N and as a friend, although Manako is often the target of Zombina's pranks due to her clumsiness. However, as seen in Chapter 42, Zombina can also be very protective of Manako if she thinks that others are trying to harm her.

Doppel[]

Manako gets on very well with Doppel as a team member of M.O.N and as a friend, although Manako is often the target of Doppel's pranks due to her clumsiness. However, as seen in Chapter 42, Doppel can also be very protective of Manako if she thinks that others are trying to harm her.

In Episode 9, Manako helped to captured Draco after the Dragonewt girl tried to grope Miia.

This interaction only happened in the anime, in the manga Manako and Draco have never interacted with each other.

Manako didn't interact much with Yuuhi in general, but like all MON members she was happy that the girl is fine now. In Chapter 42 Manako showed Yuuhi and her friends how to win a goldfish by goldfish scooping at the festival.
