Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls (モンスター娘のいる日常, Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou) Volume 17 is the seventeenth volume of the Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls manga series. Containing six chapters and one bonus comic, this volume covers the introduction of six Centaur characters of different subspecies seeking help or advice (with the exception of two) from Centorea.
Written by Okayado (Inui Takemaru) and serialized in Monthly Comic Ryu magazine, the serialized chapters were collected and published in tankobon volumes by Monthly Comic Ryu in Japan and later translated for an English release by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Volume seventeen was released in Japan by Monthly Comic Ryu on the 11th June 2021. The english release date for the volume was originally scheduled for the 23th November 2021, but for unknown reasons it was pushed back to the 8th August 2023 and then to the 30th July 2024. The Volume was finally published in English on the 10th September 2024.

Time for some Horseplay
Cerea gallops into the spotlight, along with a whole herd of new Centaurs. There's Nighdrem, who can bring your most embarrassing fears and desires to light; the regal Pegasania, who has an embarrasing secret of her own; sportly Alusia and earthy Cheron; Nico, who loves idols; and Meamil, who nurses an unsettling fetish. Led by Cerea, can this unconventional herd defend Kimihito's household against the scheming President of Black Lily?

- After Volume 18, this is the volume with the second most chapters with a total of six. However, these chapters are not combined into a single story; each one tells its own subplot.
- Included in this volume is a two-page secret page of the centaur girls and an extended bonus comic titled "Centaur Girls Hot to Trot"; showcasing a race between all of the centaur girls that appeared in this volume. This comic is a parody of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise.
- The official plot for Volume 17 contains several incorrect informations about the actual plot of the book:
- The plot makes it sound like Mr President will act as a main antagonist against Kimihito's homestay girls, but this is not the case as he only appears in Chapter 72 and doesn't interact with the girls appart from Centorea (and not in an antagonistic way).
- Furthermore, the plot gives the impression that Kimihito's homestay girls would play a prominent role in this volume, although apart from Centorea only Papi and Rachnera appear (and the latter two only play a rather minor role). Furthermore, Mero and Miia are the only ones being mentioned.
- The most of the Centaur girls went to Centorea to get help/advice from her and don't defend Kimihito's homestay girls against Mr President. In Meamil's case, it turns even out that she was actually an antagonist. Furthermore, Pegasania is the only one who's not enlisting Centorea's aid at all.
- This is the first volume whose original english release termin has been postboned. No official statement was made by Seven Seas Entertainment about this, although it was likely at least partly due to the coronavirus pandemic.
- Volume 17 is the only volume in the series that was released earlier in German than in English, as it was released in German on September 6th, 4 days before the English release.
- This is one of the few volumes where the BWH measurements in the secret page of the characters who made their debut (in this case are the centaur girls) are shown wearing their usual clothes instead of swimsuits.
