The Okayado Municipal Library is a public library featured in the manga series located in Akasaka in Tokyo, Japan. According to Zombina in the official translation of Chapter 76, the library is located on the outskirts of the town.
The library is a very large building with at least three floors. The doors of the library are made of glass and both the stairs and the external façade are made of a light-coloured material, possibly marble.
The Okayado Municipal Library has long been the residence of the grimoire Arbatel, although how the magical tome came into the library's possession is unknown. According to Ms Smith in the official translation, the library is somewhat abandoned, although the building itself showed no discernible signs of decay. It is (or was) probably a very well-known and popular library considering the high number of people whose consciousness was absorbed by Arbatel.
It can be assumed that the grimoire was not originally in a public section of the library, given the fact that the cases of unconscious persons associated with Arbatel only became known a short time before Chapter 74.[1]

Trivia[]
- As a magical tome, Arbatel was able to affect the library so that the only room that seemed comfortable, clean and inviting was the room it was located within.[1]
- While Arbatel absorbs the consciousness of everyone who opens its pages and reading its name aloud, the grimoire also goes out of its way to contact an ambulance once its done so to make sure the unconscious body is given proper medical attention.[1]
- In fan-translation, the name of the library is Kayado Public Library.
- In the official translation of Chapter 74, Ms Smith states that the library is somewhat abandoned, but this in turn raises the question of how Arbatel was able to absorb the consciousness of so many humans and Liminals, since it would probably have taken years for the Grimoire to gather enough "students" if there are only few library visitors. However, this cannot have been the case, since the incidents of unconscious persons caused by Arbatel only became known to the public shortly before Chapter 74 and it would certainly have been noticed if there had been cases of unconscious persons in the library over the years.
