1-2 Days Later

  • While shopping for groceries during the early hours of the morning, Kimihito encounters a Centauride named Centorea who was in the process of hunting down a neighbourhood purse thief. As Centorea shanghai's Kimihito into aiding her; as she wouldn't be able to arrest the thief herself once she found him due to the exchange laws stating that liminals could not assault or harm humans without legal consequence, the pair discover and chase the thief across the town, resulting in his successful capture, although Kimihito was injured in the process while he protected Centorea from an attack. Returning home, Centorea declares her desire to continue her exchange program with Kimihito as her homestay host and moves into his house with the other two liminal girls.
  • The Arachne Rachnera Arachnera is introduced to her homestay hosts, the Kunanzuki family. While the parents are greatly disturbed by her predatory appearance, the family's daughter, Ren Kunanzuki took a liking to her; although her persistent interest annoyed Rachnera.

Next Day

  • Disturbed by the arrival of two "rivals" for Kimihito's affections, Miia attempts to establish herself as Kimihito's girlfriend but only manages to irritate Centorea, who has come to view Kimihito as her intended "lord"; to whom she intended to devote her services to. As the tension between the three girls grows until they were on the verge of physically fighting each other in a public park, Kimihito attempts to interrupt them only to become injured when co-ordinator Smith arrives, sees the three girls about to start fighting, and pulls out a gun to tranquilize them only to shoot Kimihito instead. As Kimihito recovers, Smith informs him that he was selected to be a test subject for marriage within the exchange program.

  • As Miia attempts to gain "wife points" by cooking for the household, only to reveal that she can't cook, she is forced to rely on Kimihito when her tail starts moulting and she was unable to clean it due to having burned her hands while cooking.

Next Day

Next Day

  • As Papi befriends the slime; naming the slime Suu, she attempts to protect her new friend by running away when she overhears Kimihito and the other two girls discussing what to do with an illegal liminal in the household. Chasing Papi down, and discovering that Papi had been secretly venturing outside the house to play with the Neighborhood Kids without his knowledge, Kimihito decides to let her stay after Suu saves one of the kids from being hit by a car.
  • While initially fearing that Co-ordinator Smith would not take too kindly to discovering Suu, an unregistered liminal, living at his house, it is soon discovered that Smith was more preoccupied with renovating Kimihito's house for the introduction of a new exchange student; a Mermaid named Meroune Lorelei, and was voluntarily ignoring Suu's presence in the household.

Next Day

  • Concerned that yet another girl had arrived to steal her "darling's" attention, Miia soon learned that Meroune was actually more interested in an unrequited/cuckqueaned relationship with Kimihito due to a cultural fetish for "tragic romance" and actively supported Miia's claim on him.

1-2 Days Later

  • Kimihito goes out into a rain storm to save Suu who had been outside and gotten caught in the weather.

Next Day

  • Kimihito is stricken with a cold and fever after going out into the rain to save Suu. After curing Kimihito of his illness, Suu declares her love for him.

Next Day

  • Kimihito gains the attention of a man named Kasegi who intends to take advantage of liminals to make money off of them. Posing as a documentary film-maker, Kasegi attempts to steal Miia's shed skin (which she kept in her room since the shedding incident a few days previously) and a Harpy egg Papi was in the process of laying, however, with Suu's help the household discovers the man's less-than-benevolent intentions and thwarts his attempts. Escaping the police, Kasegi returns to his apartment but is entrapped by Rachnera who he was exploiting for her silk.

Next Day

  • Managing to call the police, the MON squad rescues/arrests Kasegi but fails to arrest Rachnera, who fled the apartment and abducted Kimihito after hearing about him from Kasegi.

Unknown

  • After the bathroom is renovated to contain baths suited to their individual needs, the girls all have a bath together.
  • After Miia, Meroune and Centorea are found to have gained weight during their stay due to lack of adequate exercise, Co-ordinator Smith recommends them to a newly established "liminal friendly" gymnasium called Sports Club Kobold run by the Kobold Polt.

Unknown

  • A letter threatening to kill Kimihito should he marry one of the girls arrives at the Kurusu Residence from a person identifying themselves as "D".

Next Day

  • When Kimihito goes on a fake date with co-ordinator Smith in an effort to lure "D" out of hiding, they forget to inform the other girls in his household who then stalk the date in an effort to identify the girl he was cheating on them with and why. After they discover the reason behind the fake date, Smith requests that the girls all go on dates with Kimihito in an effort to lure out "D" so that M.O.N. can capture them.

Next Day

  • The first to "date" Kimihito is Miia, and the pair is accompanied by Meroune who takes them to the Tokuma Marine Park aquarium where she is a VIP, and is shadowed by Tionishia. While encountering a Dragonewt named Draco, who desired Miia as her girlfriend, the group did not encounter "D".

Next Day

  • The next date is with Suu and Papi, with Zombina as escort, and Papi insists that they have a barbecue in the forest nearby. In the forest they encounter a Kaiju Dryad named Kii who had become transformed due to chemical waste dumped within the forest. Overcoming the dryad with Suu's help, the group do not encounter "D".

Next Day

  • The next date is with Centorea and Rachnera, with Manako as support. While they become the subject of mischief from a Lesser Devil named Lilith, they do not encounter "D".

Next Day

  • With their day off from work, Tionishia, Zombina and Manako decide to all go on dates with Kimihito following another letter from "D". After going shopping with Tionishia, watching a zombie movie with Zombina and going to the park with Manako, the group manages to finally catch the culprit "D"; who turns out to be Doppel who had written the letter in an attempt to force Kimihito to further his relationship with one of the girls. However, she was not responsible for the second letter.
  • On his way home Kimihito is confronted by a Dullahan, however, she loses her head while attempting to intimidate him and so Kimihito takes her body to his house and returns with Papi, Meroune, Miia, and Centorea to find her head within the park.
  • Returning her head the Dullahan announces that Kimihito was on the verge of death and that she was there to take his soul. As the girls all attempt to save Kimihito from the Dullahan, they each end up nearly killing him in their attempts until Kimihito himself reveals that the Dullahan was only posing and not actually there to kill him.
  • Later that night Co-ordinator Smith reveals that the Dullahan, named Lala, was another homestayer who kept running away from her homestay hosts but as Kimihito had gained her interest she was free to stay with him as yet another resident.

Next Day

  • Fretting over the rising cost of maintaining a household with so many girls, Kimihito is still forced to go shopping to restock on food; shopping at the local shopping district he manages to get discounted foods after Papi started playing with the shop owners' children as a pseudo babysitter, meanwhile Kimihito also managed to get free produce from Kii's forest and catfish from Polt who was fishing in the local river to quell the invasive species. However, Kimihito loses all of newly gained food when co-ordinator Smith and M.O.N. spontaneously arrive to join the resident's during dinner. However, while he was in a state of despair Smith notifies him that the exchange program reimburses the homestay hosts' food costs, a fact he was not aware of until that point.

Next Day

  • The Kurusu household residents eat out for all three meals. For dinner they went to a yakiniku restaurant and cleaned them out of meat and rice. Causing the restaurant to ban them for life.

1-2 Days Later

  • As Kimihito contends with getting re-compensation for past food bills, Rachnera, Centorea, Papi and Miia receive mail; with Rachnera receiving notification from her past host family that they wish to host her again. When the host family's daughter, Ren Kunanzuki, personally visits the household; the residents attempt to trail her to see if she would be a good host for Rachnera. However, when Kimihito returns he turns Ren down immediately, much to Rachnera's joy (expressed only after she drinks coffee provided to her by Kimihito).
  • After the incident, the other girls (Miia, Papi and Centorea) open their letters and learn that their mothers were all going to visit them.

Unknown

1-2 Days Later

  • When Miia's Mother arrives to visit her daughter, she attempts to help her daughter make Kimihito the tribe's communal husband by paralyzing the other girls so that they can't interfere. However, Miia runs away with Kimihito instead. While revealing her original reason for joining the exchange program was to find a communal husband for her tribe, Miia helps Kimihito lure her mother into a refrigerated room to stop her from getting them to have sex. Eventually, the duo convince her to leave them alone. However, that does not stop her from attempting to sleep with him herself that night.

1-2 Days Later

  • As Papi starts fretting that she had forgotten something very important, her mother arrives and immediately starts demanding that she return home. Thinking that her mother wanted her to return home due to her joining the exchange program on a whim and staying in one place with a guy in direct violation of Harpy law, Papi and Kimihito attempt to run away only to be caught in a mid-air fight with her over the park. Crashing into the pond, Papi's mother reveals that she was not there to take Papi away but to take back a photo of her and her husband that had gotten misplaced within the letter she had sent to Papi.

1-2 Days Later

  • Centorea's Mother arrives to visit her daughter but is unimpressed with the man (Kimihito) she had given her loyalty to and insist that Centorea find herself a "winsome" teaser. As the two begin fighting, Centorea's mother accidentally strikes Kimihito as he tries to break them apart, resulting in Centorea challenging her mother to a duel to decide her future. With Kimihito's aid, Centorea wins the duel and Centorea's mother reveals that she had intentionally provoked her daughter into a fight to test her daughter's strength and disprove their race's tradition of only breeding amongst centaurs to preserve their race's strength (as Centorea herself was a daughter of a centauride and and a human, but could still match the strength of her mother, a pure blood centaur).
  • Coordinator Smith asks Kimihito if he has decided which girl he was going to marry.

Next Day

  • With their mothers all giving them their blessing to pursue their relationships, Papi, Miia and Centorea all become more possessive of Kimihito, resulting in him gaining more injuries. Furthermore, due to overhearing Smith querying him on whom he intended to marry, Suu, Meroune and Rachnera also wish to pursue a relationship with him. Additionally, the girls' mischief keeps sending him to the River Styx where he encounters Lala who keeps watching him return to the living world due to his continual will to keep the other girls happy (a tendency that attracts her to him as well).
  • With the attic destroyed due to the girls' antics, the Kurusu House residents are sent on a "holiday" by coordinator Smith while the house is repaired and renovated further.

While fleeing from a pursuer who they thought was Lala and getting into a fight with Draco and Lilith, who were attempting to visit Miia and Rachnera respectively, the group is eventually found by coordinator Smith and brought home where Meroune is met by her butlers, Flounnder and Sebasstian, who announce that Meroune must return home immediately due to a kidnapping threat from the Scylla Octo.
  • Meroune and her friends are immediately taken to the Mermaid Hotel on Japan's coastline where, as Meroune visits her mother in the main building, her butlers take her friends to settle at the air-breathers' hotel next door until using a distraction of crabs and stingrays, Octo seemingly kidnaps Meroune from her hotel room.
