Onsen Town

Okaya is a small tourism town built in a valley near Tokyo, Japan, located around a series of hotspring outlets. As an Onsen Town the town's largest commodity are onsen hotels.

Kimihito Kurusu and his homestay girls stay at this town while traveling after the destruction and repair of his house. Some time later, after becoming burnt-out after re-experiencing carefree "high school life" in Arbatel's illusionary Grimoire Public High School, Kuroko Smith spends her vacation at the town, running into three liminal girls (Garu, Aluca and Vikk) she had met while trapped in the high school while doing so.
