Quess is a Queen Slime that appears in Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Online.
She joins the liminal exchange program to become one of many potential homestay boarders for the player to host.
Appearance[]
Quess' humanoid appearance is that of an adult human woman with hair flowing down to her hips. While seeming to lack the "antenna" appendage that other conventional slimes posses (or she is at least capable of concealing it), she is capable of forming her own clothing; preferring to "wear" a dark pink split skirt, bikini top and white scarf. The pink hue of her body often leads to her being mistaken for a Pink Slime, however, her golden crown and jewellery sets her apart from the Pink Slime species.
Personality[]
Quess is a woman with a soft, thoughtful personality. With her self-professed hobby being "living like a human being", she desires nothing less than to act like, and be treated like, a normal human woman and, as the head of the household treats all the women under their charge just like they would a normal girl, she enjoys living a normal life at their house.

Queen Slimes (クイーンスライム, Kuīn Suraimu) are slimes that have a higher intellect than most slime species; whether this is due to their age, amount of experiences or their environment is unknown.
While possessing a higher intellect than most slimes; whose intellects generally measure around that of a human child, Queen Slimes rarely possess a higher intellect than that of a human adult.

- Quess's name is a contraction (クイーンスライム) of her species' name.
- Quess, with her pink hue and crown, is possibly a reference to the Dragon Quest franchise's Queen Slime species.
- Quess sometimes offers to turn into a sofa for the head of the household to lay in. This may be a reference to the Sofa of Slothfulness short-story where Suu pretended to be a sofa to replace a sofa that Centorea broke.
- Every morning, she offers to "bath" the householder by enveloping them within her body and absorbing all of the grime and sweat from their body.
- As she occasionally wonders aloud if her child is somewhere in this town, it can be assumed that Quess has produced at least one slime "child". Whether this is a reference to Jelli or not is unclear.
- Quess reveals that slimes do not need as much sleep as humans and as such will often be awake when the rest of the household is asleep.
