Trivia[]
- As revealed in Chapter 76, the school uniforms where the reason why everyone whose consciousness was absorbed by Arbatel thought they were students at the school. The brainwashing could only be broken when a "student" took off their uniform, but nobody did that (except Papi) since the students kept their uniforms on even while sleeping (probably due to Arbatel's magic).
- While during Volume 18 it initially seemed as if Ms Smith was also under the brainwashing of Arbatel, it is later revealed in the omakes of the volume in "Smith's investigations diary" that she was indeed able to successfully regain her senses, since she felt an overwhelmingly discomfort from wearing one of the enchanted school uniforms. Nevertheless, Ms Smith wore the school uniform the entire time during her stay at Grimoire Public High School, like all other "students", which means that it is not known how Ms Smith could not come under brainwashing again.
- While there were both male and female human students at the Grimoire High School, in return, there were apparently only female Liminal students. This is another indication of the fact that there are only a few male Liminals participating in the Interspecies Cultural Exchange Program, which once again calls into question the equality between female and male Liminals from the Japanese government.
- According to Ms Smith's investigation diary in the omake of Volume 18, the total number of students was unknown as their numbers were constantly increasing, but in general, the overall ratio between humans and non-humans was 6:4, while the ratio between male and female students was 4:6. However, apart from the fact that this was only an approximate statistic of Ms. Smith, this did not mean that there were only female Liminal students and male human students at the school, as can be seen from the many female human students and Sebasstian and Flounnder.
- As Ms Smith found out in her research, the "students" seemed to have no clue about their actual ages during their time at the Grimoire High School, whereby even the thirty-two-year-old office worker with who Lutro fell in love with, was a third-year student during his time at the school.
- Kimihito was the only "student" who was never brainwashed despite wearing a school uniform the whole time. This was because, as Arbatel revealed to him in Chapter 80, she had intentionally left him sane because she saw him as a "harem rom-com protagonist" (because he lives together with seven Liminal girls), and hoped that the Grimoire world would change his "filthy harem obsessed heart".
- As Manako and Tio revealed in Chapter 80, after Arbatel released the consciousness of all the absorbed people, basically each of them had decided not to blame Arbatel and even praised her because they had all started new relationships through Arbatel's input. A few also thought that Arbatel just went a little crazy, but ultimately the Liminal laws were not clear in this particular case, so Arbatel was not held accountable for her actions, although Kimihito and Centorea were skeptical about it.
