The Sofa of Slothfulness is an short omake in Monster Musume between Chapter 26 and Chapter 27.
The bonus omake was later gathered as part of the series' tankōbon volume Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Volume 6.
Plot[]
Miia has brought home a square bean bag sofa which is said to turn people to mush and wants to see if it works on Liminals as well. Rachnera jokes that Miia is probably mush already when she explains the sofa much to her annoyance. She wonders why the others think she's a mushy person only for Centorea and Mero to remember how lazy the Lamia is, especially on cold days.
Not caring about the sofa, Rachnera leaves while Miia plops down on the sofa who's immediately drawn to its softness. Centorea concludes that Miia is mushy which angers the Lamia so Mero tries it to see how she feels. Soon after, Mero falls in love with the sofa making Centorea uneasy. At that point, Papi arrives and wanting a turn, which Mero offers. However when Papi tries to dive-bomb onto the sofa, Mero subconsciously slaps Papi away with her tail to protect the sofa much to Miia and Centorea's shock. The Harpy crashes into some furniture becoming knocked out all while Mero apologizes profoundly for harming her.
After Miia and Lala carry Papi away, Centorea takes secretly interest in the sofa as there aren't that many chairs for Centaurs. Unfortunately due to the weight of her horse half, the sofa breaks the moment she tries to sit on it. Worrying the humiliation she'll likely receive from Miia and Rachnera, Centorea quickly tries to hide the mess and find a replacement. She then spots Suu in her kiddie pool and shapes her into the shape of the sofa.
After Centorea leaves to buy a new sofa, Rachnera go back into the living room. When she sees that no one is using it at the moment, she takes advantage of using it, wondering why everyone was making such a fuss earlier with the sofa when nobody using it now. However she realizes too late that the sofa is actually Suu to which the Slime molests the Arachne, rather hard. Soon after, Miia finds Rachnea completely worn out, with the Lamia guessing that she used her sofa while Rachnera claims that's not what happened.
