Hey everyone,
Been a while since i last posted any ideas or thughts about the series, so time for an update. With the recent addition of an eigth main monster girl of Oct, though i have yet to read that chapter, I have begun to wonder jsut how many "main girls" the author intends to put in.
Lets be honest, the more monster girls there are in the series, the better. The side stories with the fox girl, the minotaur, and the monster security team was interesting and fun, a way to see more into how the monster girl world works. But as far as main love interests for Hito (kimohito), i feel as if there needs to be a cap. I personnaly htink that as of now there are plenty of main characters for the girls, since trying to give all of them adequate face time and importance in each plot gets harder with each new addition.
Take Lala for example. Not hating at all, enjoy the character and the humor she brings, but since her intro, lala hasnt really done anything, even during main plots, she appears maybe once, as compared to all the others ones who are constanty there. I'm not saying the author cant find a way to work in more characters, but giving adequate time for each ine will be the problem from what i can see. Oct from what i have seen, which mind you is literally her bio picture on this site, shell be an interesting addition, and im sure shell add a lot to the love humor hurricane that is Hitos' house hold haha.
But as for new girls, i feel as if they should be kept to a side character basis. Let hito have his one panel humor with them mind you, but keeep the serious interests he has to less than 10 girls. Though as a side note i cant see him surviving that many since he's getting by on a wing and a prayer at this point.
I'm very intersted in hearing other peples thoughts on this. should there be a limit to main girls? or hsould the other just keep busitng them out, keep th ones that work and just pphase out the ones that dont?
and on the lowdown, i really hope the author starts having Hito go on serious dates again, though its understandabel since there are inly 36 chapters out sadly, but dammit i need romance hahaha.
