The following is a description of Yukio's relationships and interactions with other characters in Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls.

Humans[]

The son of the Onsen owners/Yukio's fiancé[]

Yukio and her future fiancé met when his family become her host family for the Extraspecies Exchange Program and she was immediately touched by his kindness. After learning that Yukio was unable to enter the warm baths of the onsen as a Yuki-onna, he created her a special cold bath for her and she fell in love with him due to his kindness and devotion. Since then, the two have been a heart and soul, with Yukio particularly loving his smile, which she describes as warm, bright and cheerful.

As stated in Yukio's secrets, the love between her and the young master is as pure as ice, but since Yukio always seems to look angry, many people often wonder if the two really get along. At the latest, however, as soon as they hear how much Yukio adores him, they know how much they love each other. The young master is also the only one Yukio has ever told that she actually gets cold easily, as nobody would believe her due to the fact that Yuki-onnas are ice Liminals and her skin itself is freezing cold.

Kimihito Kurusu[]

Yukio and Kimihito are good friends. Since Yukio can often appear cold and distant, Kimihito found her a bit scary when they first met, although didn't seem to notice this. Due to his kindness, Yukio quickly trusted him, to the point that she confided in him about some more intimate things, like her concern that she might fail as the owner of the Resort if she didn't learn to smile as warmly as her boyfriend. Kimihito then gave her some advice, for which she was very grateful.

As later seen during the events of Volume 16, Kimihito is also often impressed by how well Yukio can react to unexpected events, although he also found her ways of solving them to be extraordinary and at times a bit daring.

Kuroko Smith[]

Yukio and Kuroko don't often interact, but they know and respect each other. In Chapter 31, Yukio made a request to Ms Smith if she knew any Liminals who could test the Sno Ball Hot Spring Resort before Yukio opened it to the public. Ms Smith then provided Yukio with Kimihito and his household girls.

Mr President[]

As revealed in Chapter 66, Yukio seems to have some business dealings with Mr President. Prior to the events of Volume 16, he sold Yukio a prototype of a new filtration system so that it could better filter the water in the Arctic Inn's onsen. Mr President used the Black Slime Nega-Suu for the filter system, but this eventually led to the creation of the Hot Spring Slimes.

To avoid compensation from the Inn, Yukio "persuaded" Mr President to pay for the repairs to the filtration system and that he would have to take responsibility for finding all Slime girls who had already entered into relationships with male human participants in the dating pool event. Mr President complied, although he groaned inwardly at the immense financial loss it meant to him.

All in all, Yukio seems to be one of the few people who can use her authority to unnerve Mr President and put him in a position where he can't think of any arguments to contradict her.

Kimihito's homestay girls[]

Miia[]

Yukio and Lala respect each other, but don't often interact and don't have a special relationship. Like most of Kimihito's homestay girls, Miia found it rather tiring when Yukio required them in Chapter 32 to write a very detailed report of their onsen experiences.

In Chapter 67, Miia was very impressed by Yukio's extraordinary idea of turning the entire bathhouse into a premium sauna.

Papi[]

Yukio and Lala respect each other, but don't often interact and don't have a special relationship. Like most of Kimihito's homestay girls, Papi found it rather tiring when Yukio required them in Chapter 32 to write a very detailed report of their onsen experiences.

Centorea Shianus[]

Yukio and Centorea don't often interact with each other, but they respect each other. However, like most of Kimihito's homestay girls, Centorea found it rather tiring when Yukio required them in Chapter 32 to write a very detailed report of their onsen experiences.

In Chapter 67, Centorea was very impressed by Yukio's extraordinary idea of turning the entire bathhouse into a premium sauna.

Suu[]

Yukio and Lala respect each other, but don't often interact and don't have a special relationship. In Chapter 31, Yukio showed Suu the shallow waterfall pool in the Aectic Inn that was specifically provided for species who cannot submerge themselves in large quantities of water (like Slimes), which Suu was very happy about. Like most of Kimihito's homestay girls, Suu found it rather tiring when Yukio required them in Chapter 32 to write a very detailed report of their onsen experiences.

Meroune Lorelei[]

Yukio and Lala respect each other, but don't often interact and don't have a special relationship. Like most of Kimihito's homestay girls, Mero found it rather tiring when Yukio required them in Chapter 32 to write a very detailed report of their onsen experiences.

Rachnera Arachnera[]

Yukio and Rachnera respect each other, but don't often interact and don't have a special relationship. In Chapter 31, Rachnera liked the resort's mist sauna for species who are averse to high heat (like the Arachne) when Yukio showed it to her.

Lala[]

Yukio and Lala respect each other, but don't often interact and don't have a special relationship. Like most of Kimihito's homestay girls, Lala found it rather tiring when Yukio required them in Chapter 32 to write a very detailed report of their onsen experiences.

TALIO[]

Liz[]

Yukio and Liz seem to get along well, as in the omake of Volume 8, Liz is seen relaxing in the onsen of the resort with Yukio. However, the two have hardly interacted with each other.

Kinu[]

Yukio and Kinu seem to get along well, as in the omake of Volume 8, Kinu is seen relaxing in the onsen of the resort with Yukio. However, the two have hardly interacted with each other.

Monster Community[]

Ils Nineta[]

Yukio and Ils seem to get along well, as in the omake of Volume 8, Ils is seen relaxing in the onsen of the resort with Yukio. However, the two have hardly interacted with each other.

Cathyl[]

Yukio and Cathyl seem to get along well, as in the omake of Volume 8, Cathyl is seen relaxing in the onsen of the resort with Yukio. However, the two have hardly interacted with each other.

Merino[]

Yukio and Merino seem to get along well, as in the omake of Volume 8, Merino is seen relaxing in the onsen of the resort with Yukio. However, the two have hardly interacted with each other.

Cott & Ton[]

Yukio and the Barometz's twins seem to get along well, as in the omake of Volume 8, Cott and Ton are seen relaxing in the onsen of the resort with Yukio. The twins asked Yukio if she had a human boyfriend, just like they had asked the other girls, but they were stunned when Yukio told them that the son of the onsen owners is not her boyfriend but her fiancé.

Octo[]

Octo and Yukio are good acquaintances, with Yukio being Octo's landlord. As seen in Chapter 66, Octo operates her own booth within the Arctic Inn, "Ms Octo's Counselling Room" where she provides relationship advice to couples who have bonded during dating events. Yukio appreciates Octo's experience and asks the Scylla for advice on problems, such as the 100% matching rate.

While Yukio gets along well with Octo, as seen in the omake of Volume 16, she can sometimes get confused about the Scylla, like when she saw that Octo failed to notice that the young man repeatedly seeking advice from her as an excuse to gain her affection was in love with her, although the numerous clues made that pretty obvious.

Salamander Friend & Suu's Mother[]

Yukio and her friends, the Salamander woman and Suu's mother, an Undine, get along very well and they have probably known each other for a longer time. In Chapter 67, the two help Yukio convert the entire bathhouse into a premium large sauna as a special service with their combined water and fire elemental abilities.

In the omake of Volume 16, Centorea speculates that Yukio is so good friends with the Salamander woman and Suu's mother, because all three are "Elite Liminals" and therefore understand each other better than with other Liminals due to their similar elementary, supernatural abilities.
